CLINICAL ASSESSMENT
SAFE believes in a thorough and comprehensive assessment to ensure the appropriate level of care for our clients. Every client is assessed by a trained professional to determine their specific needs. During this process the therapist and client can develop a therapeutic alliance and develop a treatment plan that supports the client’s goals.
ADMISSIONS
Criteria for admission to the program includes specific guidelines that our clinical staff use in determining appropriateness and eligibility of program applicants.
The following are the basic guidelines:
The applicant appears to be in need of SUD and/or problem gambling treatment services.
The applicant appears to be free of infectious disease which can be transmitted through ordinary contact.
The applicant appears to not be in need of acute hospital care, acute psychiatric care or other intensive services which cannot be provided in conjunction with outpatient care or would prevent the applicant from participating in treatment services.
